BE Campbell
Family-owned premium pork since 1969
BE Campbell has grown from a single delivery truck serving 20 Sydney customers in 1969 to one of Australia's largest family-owned meat processors. Today they process up to 15,000 pigs weekly at their Wetherill Park facility, supplying premium Australian pork to tables across the country.
A Century of Pastoral Heritage
In 1969, Bruce and Marie Campbell founded BE Campbell with over a hundred years of pastoral heritage behind them and a simple delivery truck serving 20 customers — mostly restaurants and butcher shops around Sydney.
From those humble beginnings in Eastwood, the business grew steadily. By 1976 they'd moved into their own premises at Homebush, then to a purpose-built facility in Wetherill Park by 1988. Expansion came in waves: freezer capacity and export markets in 1995, a portioned and retail-ready tray pack plant at Arndell Park in 2008, and the Hilltops Abattoir at Young in 2014.
Today BE Campbell is one of Australia's largest and most trusted family-owned meat operators. Their Wetherill Park facility processes up to 15,000 pigs a week using state-of-the-art SFK deboning, while the Arndell Park plant handles 400 tonnes weekly across multiple species. With over 700 employees and a fleet of 30 refrigerated trucks, BE Campbell supplies major supermarkets, food service, retail butchers and export markets.
Their track record speaks for itself — Woolworths Meat Supplier of the Year three times, Metcash Meat Supplier of the Year, and multiple industry awards across five decades.
