Cape Grim Beef
Pure Tasmanian grass-fed beef — made by nature
Cape Grim Beef comes from the pristine northwest corner of Tasmania, where the world's cleanest air, abundant rainfall, and rich year-round pastures produce 100% grass-fed beef of extraordinary quality. Free range, GMO free, and Certified Humane, it's the choice of Michelin-starred chefs worldwide.
Where the World's Cleanest Air Meets the Finest Beef
From the rugged northwest corner of Tasmania — where the Roaring Forties sweep in from the Southern Ocean delivering the world's cleanest air — Cape Grim Beef is pure beef, made by nature.
The story begins with HW Greenham & Sons, a sixth-generation meat processing family tracing back to the 1860s. In 2001 they took over the Smithton abattoir in Tasmania's far northwest, and by 2007 they'd launched Cape Grim Beef — recognising what local farmers had known for decades: that the region's pristine air, abundant rainfall, and rich year-round pastures produce grass-fed beef of extraordinary quality.
Today Cape Grim cattle are raised free range on the lush grasslands of Tasmania, grazing on a natural diet with no added hormones, no antibiotics, and no GMOs. Certified Humane and backed by the Greenham Never Ever Beef Program, every cut carries lifetime traceability from paddock to plate — and every carcass is MSA graded to guarantee eating quality.
Sought after by Michelin-starred chefs and featured on menus from Melbourne to Singapore, Cape Grim Beef is distributed nationally through Australian Wholesale Meats and available at Pryde Butchery for those who demand beef the way nature intended.
