Ash and Sons Eggs

Farm fresh Sydney eggs — third generation, nearly 60 years

Ash and Sons Eggs is a third-generation family business that's been producing farm fresh eggs since 1958. Operating as Luddenham Valley Eggs, they supply free range eggs to butchers, grocers, and supermarkets across Sydney from their own farms.

Three Generations of Farm Fresh Eggs

Ash and Sons Eggs is a third-generation, 100% Australian family-owned egg producer — trading as Luddenham Valley Eggs — that has been bringing farm fresh eggs to Sydney tables for nearly 60 years.

It began in 1958 as a small farm in Smithfield with just 10,000 chickens. Three generations later, the Ash family still produces and distributes fresh eggs daily across Sydney, growing alongside their customers while staying true to the values that built the business: quality, freshness, and doing right by the bird.

Today Ash and Sons operates across multiple farms, delivering free range eggs in formats from the classic dozen (700g) through to extra large (800g) and bulk 180-piece packs. Their eggs are stocked at Woolworths, independent butchers, fruit shops, and specialty grocers throughout Sydney.

For Pryde Butchery, these are the eggs our customers reach for — the ones that perform as well in a sponge cake as they do sunny-side up on a Sunday morning.
